Company: Infineum

Role Function and Group: Energy Applications, Enabling Electrification Driveline & MRX
Location:  Zhangjiagang, China

Position Summary:

Enabling Electrification (‘ENEL’) is a key transformation enabler for T2G2030 strategy and for Infineum’s long term future success. ENEL is a prominent part of the Energy Applications business. ENEL brings together the existing and highly profitable Driveline business, with new business opportunities such as MRX moved out of NBD into commercial reality.

Driveline is a premium opportunity for in-FOO growth. Driveline is broadening its coverage of lubricants required in the transmission and broader Driveline system, across factory fill and service fill. We are enabling electrification through cutting-edge e-fluid technology and product offerings. And we are simultaneously extending our offering to Gear oil, Off-highway and Industrial applications, thereby more than TRIPLING our access to the addressable additives market.

MRX is a very different commercial concept, but highly complementary and exciting. It is a premium opportunity for diversification and growth. The MRX business is highly adjacent to Infineum’s core – it enables electrification through the formulation and deployment of smart fluids, powders and other materials. A key aspect of the role will be developing experience & techniques to optimise products and performance with these unconventional media, including powders.

ENEL lab technicians are critical to this transformation of our business. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing field – blending and testing specialty lubricants, additives and MRF with our newly invested rigs like FZG, MTM etc. The lab technician will receive training on various industry standard machines and work in a safe, clean and friendly environment.  While part of a much larger organization, the candidate will be working in a smaller testing facility where every person counts!  The successful candidate should be an individual with strong mechanical aptitude and detail-oriented ability.
