Role Title: Laboratory Technician (Shift)

Position Summary:
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for executing laboratory tests to support Product Quality Assurance and in‑process testing, in full compliance with quality, safety, and role‑specific standards aligned to production needs. The role ensures smooth lab operations by delivering accurate sample results on time, with minimal supervision from the Lab Leader, while proactively identifying and reporting opportunities for improvement. A key responsibility is maintaining quality control in accordance with ISO 9001 and IQPs, by performing the mandatory tasks required under these frameworks. In addition, the Laboratory Technicians will also demonstrate QC capabilities and serve as LIMS Power Users to strengthen overall laboratory performance.
Key Responsibilities / What You'll Achieve
- Performs QC tests on samples sent (finished products, in-process samples, raw material and effluent water) to the laboratory and comply with data integrity in testing and records.
- Ensures analytical results are entered into LIMS.
- Carry out inventory check for chemical/gases/instrument consumables as and when required.
- Prepares and standardizes all necessary reagents in accordance with specified methods
- Verifies the performance of analytical equipment through statistical analysis, evaluation of results, control charts
- Carry out equipment calibration and maintenance in accordance with schedule before use.
- Manages lab samples (retention, disposal) according to local procedures
- Supports non routine analysis (e.g. samples form external depots/third parties, lab blends, retains samples after Quality complaints etc)
- Responsible for the housekeeping of the lab
- Typically, a member of the Emergency response Team in the field; participates in Emergency Drills as per schedule
- Performs HSSE relevant activities (Near misses reporting, surveys etc)

Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., diploma, vocational training) or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of IQP3.3, HSSE procedures, and understanding of raw materials/products with associated risks.
- Solid grasp of standard lab procedures and practices to ensure reliable and safe operations.
- Technical knowledge of industry analytical methods (e.g., ASTM, ITM, IRSA for water) with readiness to apply them in Infineum’s context.
- Each Laboratory Technicians must develop skills for multiple analytical methods.
- Good knowledge of principles and requirements of Quality Systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Excellent knowledge of lab equipment (ICP, XRF, FTIR etc) and relevant IT tool
- Strong technical skills with emphasis on safety practices, troubleshooting, and effective use of laboratory equipment.
- Solid knowledge of Quality procedures, Quality Operating Procedures, and the OIMS framework to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
