Position Summary:         

Join our MagnetoRheological materials (MRX) team as we work to create a sustainable future through innovative chemistry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the Infineum’s diversification journey by developing and maintaining a technical relationship with our strategic customers in China, create bespoke product solutions to keep pace with customer needs, while improving our cost competitiveness by utilising local raw material suppliers.

You will work with a cross-regional and cross-functional team in a fast paced, dynamic environment where your representation of the China region will be critical to decide what we do, and how we do it. This role will give you exposure to different ways of working in a diversified area of Infineum

Key Responsibilities / What You'll Achieve

• Maintain and develop relationships with strategic customers in mainland China with the aim of growing market share through close technical collaboration
• Collaborate with a cross functional and cross regional team to share best practices, customer insight and develop technical solutions
• Develop and optimise MRX products for the China market to maintain our product incumbency
• Optimise the speed and quality of how we serve our strategic customers with data generation and performance evaluation by identifying and implementing lab efficiency and service provider improvements.
• Embrace a dynamic and changing environment with a flexible and solution focused approach

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

• Demonstrated expertise in customer management
• Ability to understand and solve new technically changing problems
• Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty while being able to propose a route forward
• Flexible and pragmatic approach to activity priority

Preferred:

• Data analysis
• Familiarity with tribology and mechanical testing
• Evidenced Cross-regional working
