Position Summary:
Product Stewardship & Regulatory Compliance (PSRC) involves understanding, controlling, and communicating a product's environmental, health, and safety effects throughout its lifecycle—from development through manufacture to final disposal. This role supports Infineum’s global operations, with a primary focus on chemical regulatory compliance in the Americas and Latin America, and additional support for EU and AP regions.
Key Outputs: What we can expect from you:
- Maintain chemical regulatory compliance in the Americas (Canada, USA, Mexico, Latin America).
- Complete regulatory reporting (e.g., US TSCA, CEPA, emerging Latin American schemes).
- Provide technical input for regulatory assessments of new product developments.
- Monitor and communicate regional regulatory developments.
- Conduct impact analyses of regulatory changes and develop compliance strategies.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to resolve regulatory issues.
- Support manufacturing plants and respond to customer regulatory inquiries.
- Develop SOPs and implement best practices for compliance.
- Advocate for regulatory compliance and deliver internal training.

A successful candidate is likely to have:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in chemistry or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent experience).
- A strong organic chemistry background would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the fundamental principles behind GHS for classification of hazardous chemicals
- Knowledge and experience of chemical substance regulations, transport regulations and regulatory reporting in the Americas
- An awareness or interest in the developing regulatory requirements in Latin Americas would be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of the interconnectivity of regulatory data and good judgement in interpreting complex situations
- Some familiarity with SAP EHS linked to SDS authorship or Substance Volume Tracking would be an advantage
- Familiarity working with large databases and good IT literacy with attention to detail
- Ability to manage own workload priorities and ensure all deadlines are met
- Strong self-drive, initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, geographically diverse team
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively including experience of presenting and justifying regulatory recommendations to stakeholders
