Job Title: Cloud Solution Engineer 
Role Function and Group: Business Growth & Technology - IT Infrastructure
Location:  Linden/Bayway

 

Position Summary: 

As a member of Digital Technology team, the Infrastructure Cloud Solution Engineer maintains and improves Infineum’s global operation services. The role will have a major impact on the successful utilisation of several cloud-based operations for Infineum. Cloud Solution Engineer will oversee the handling of existing cloud-based processes, solutions as well as the migration of others.

At Infineum the Cloud Solution Engineer role is instrumental in assessing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions within the organization. Responsible for migrating technological systems to the cloud, configuring processes, and ensuring security measures, the Cloud Engineer plays a pivotal role in the organization's digital transformation. With a focus on effective communication, leadership, and decision-making, this role drives collaboration between stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes. 


Key Outputs: What we can expect from you: 
•    Assess the infrastructure of the organization's technological systems and migrate necessary components to the cloud
•    Oversee the working standards of cloud-based systems and implement improvements when needed
•    Configure various processes, including computer, network, and security systems, to ensure optimal performance
•    Train colleagues and stakeholders in the proper usage of cloud-based technology
•    Collaborate with senior management on the purchase and installation of new hardware and software
•    Ensure all security measures are in place to protect company data stored in the cloud
•    Proficiency in cloud computing technologies with a strong technical background
•    Effective communication and influencing skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
•    Assessing the infrastructure of an organisation’s technological systems and making necessary migrations to the cloud
•    Maintain strong relationships with the business, suppliers and global colleagues
•    Have an open & positive mindset
•    Manage complexity well - able to break issues into manageable tasks and prioritizing them
•    Be part of the Global Support Team, offering occasional off-hours support

A successful candidate is likely to have: 

•    Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent
•    3 to 5 years relevant work experience is expected
•    Experience on global hosting systems operations and implementation
•    Experience in hosting management, monitoring tools and patch management
•    Excellent verbal and written English skills
