Position Summary:  

The HR Digital Leader plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Infineum’s global HR Technology strategy. The role leads the global HR Information System (HRIS) team, partners with senior stakeholders and drives digital transformation that strengthens governance, simplifies processes and enables a more connected, employee-centred experience.

 

This role is accountable for shaping Infineum’s HR AI strategy, identifying, prioritising and implementing responsible AI use cases that improve employee experience, productivity and decision-making. It establishes governance, risk management, ethical standards and AI capability across the HR function.

 

This is a high-impact leadership role offering broad exposure to senior stakeholders, external best practice and emerging HR technology trends, with the opportunity to translate innovation into practical business value for Infineum and its employees.

 

 

Key Responsibilities / What You'll Achieve

 

The role provides leadership for Infineum’s global HR Technology agenda, shaping the evolution of our people systems, accelerating digital transformation, and leading a global high-performing HRIS team to deliver scalable, compliant and employee-centred solutions.

  • Define and maintain the strategic direction and roadmap for global HR Technology, ensuring alignment with HR priorities, business needs and Infineum’s digital transformation agenda.
  • Lead, develop and empower the global HR Technology team, strengthening capability, accountability and a customer-focused service mindset across system ownership, delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Own the HR AI strategy and roadmap, identifying high-value opportunities for automation, generative AI and predictive analytics while ensuring responsible, secure and ethical adoption aligned to Infineum policies. Establish governance for AI across HR, including appropriate controls, risk management, data privacy, vendor assessment and AI literacy.
  • Act as the strategic owner of Infineum’s end-to-end HR technology ecosystem, including SAP SuccessFactors, integrations, workflow automation, employee experience platforms, learning technologies, analytics, digital collaboration tools and future HR technologies, ensuring a coherent and scalable technology roadmap.
  • Maximise the value of Infineum’s investment in global HR platforms by identifying high-impact digitalisation opportunities, prioritising enhancements and ensuring solutions address business challenges while improving the employee experience.
  • Partner with HR, IT, business leaders and external providers to shape and deliver HR technology initiatives, ensuring robust governance, stakeholder alignment and successful adoption.
  • Lead the digital transformation of the HR function by simplifying, automating and redesigning HR services, processes and operating models. Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through automation, workflow optimisation and digital innovation.
  • Oversee the effective operation, governance and optimisation of SuccessFactors, including system administration, configuration changes, release management, testing, reporting and data integrity.
  • Ensure HR technology processes, data and solutions remain compliant with relevant data privacy regulations, including GDPR, as well as Infineum policies, security standards and audit requirements.
  • Lead the digital employee experience strategy, simplifying HR interactions through intuitive self-service, user-centred design and seamless colleague and manager journeys across the employee lifecycle. Champion design thinking and continuous user feedback to improve adoption, usability and satisfaction with HR technology.
  • Enable leaders to become more effective through digital tools, self-service capabilities, AI-enabled insights, workforce analytics and technology that improves decision-making, team management and organisational effectiveness.
  • Build digital capability across the HR function by developing skills in digital tools, data, AI and technology adoption, creating a more digitally capable and future-ready HR team. Partner with HR leadership on emerging technologies, digital trends and innovation opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Ability to translate business and HR priorities into a clear HR technology strategy, practical delivery roadmap and scalable, user-centred system solutions.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, setting direction and building digital capability in a global or comparably complex environment.
  • Collaborative, resilient and inclusive leadership style, with the confidence to challenge constructively, navigate ambiguity and lead change effectively across a matrix environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline, able to balance long-term vision with operational delivery, prioritisation and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, or demonstrable experience of quickly developing equivalent platform expertise.
  • Proven ability to lead complex HR technology and digital transformation initiatives, including automation, integration, process redesign and employee experience improvements, while driving stakeholder engagement, change management, adoption, risk management and benefits realization, across multiple countries, functions or business units.
  • Strong commercial acumen and vendor management capability, including oversight of service providers, implementation partners, budgets, performance metrics and service expectations.
  • Strong understanding of global HR processes, HR data management, reporting, and system controls, with a focus on data integrity, standardisation and continuous improvement.
  • Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and emerging HR technologies, including governance, risk management and practical business application.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior HR leaders, IT, business stakeholders, vendors and external implementation partners.tr
  • Strong governance, compliance and risk mindset, including sound awareness of GDPR, audit controls, security principles and HR technology policy requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics, shape decisions and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification is desirable but not essential. Additional SuccessFactors module certifications, particularly LMS, or equivalent HR technology credentials would be advantageous.
  • Experience designing digital employee experiences using user-centred design principles and service design methodologies.
  • Awareness of emerging HR technology trends, digital employee experience innovation and opportunities to modernise HR service delivery.
