Job Description
We are looking for a Process Development Laboratory Technician for our site in Berre-l’Étang (Bouches-du-Rhône), within a global Production Technology department.
You will carry out laboratory-based syntheses, analyses, and product characterizations as part of the optimization and modeling of our existing processes, as well as the development of new products. You may also provide technical support to process engineers to analyze product quality issues or manufacturing process problems across our production sites worldwide. You will also contribute to the development of the laboratory in line with our safety standards.
Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do
- Define experimental plans
- Provide recommendations based on the interpretation of results and data
- Analyze and contribute to new product development projects, including industrial trials and process optimization
- Strengthen the fundamental understanding of products and processes
- Capture and capitalize on learnings through knowledge management
- Provide technical support for problem solving
- Evaluate new raw materials and new suppliers

Skills and Qualifications Required
You hold a DUT in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or a professional bachelor’s degree, and have initial professional experience with strong knowledge of organic synthesis and analytical techniques.
A strong team player, you are able to work independently on multiple topics simultaneously. You have good analytical skills and are recognized for your proactive mindset and ability to make recommendations.
You also have a good level of English, enabling you to communicate effectively with international colleagues.
