Position Summary:
This role leads the Detergents Manufacturing Technology team. The role is responsible for process development, scale up, and ensuring product quality within our detergents component portfolio. Working at the intersection of Technology and Manufacturing, the role has the responsibility of turning R&D concepts into safe, sustainable, and commercially viable solutions. Driving continuous improvements and projects within our in-house and third-party manufacturing operations is also a critical part of the scope. The role is part of the MFT leadership team which drives the vision and strategy for the global MFT team.
Key Responsibilities / What You'll Achieve:
- Set and lead the global manufacturing technology strategy, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives, operational excellence, safety, quality and sustainability goals.
- Identify and implement advanced process technologies, including automation, process control and optimisation solutions suited to specialty chemical manufacturing.
- Partner with technology, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to convert business opportunities into successful commercial solutions.
- Lead technology transfer, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites, balancing global consistency with local operational requirements.
- Ensure technology solutions are implemented in line with process safety, quality, environmental, regulatory, industry requirements and customer expectations.
- Build knowledge and capability within team and MFT through coaching, influencing and creating a culture that values technical growth and colleague development.

Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Chemical Engineering education and experience
- Manufacturing or Manufacturing Technology experience
- Leadership experience
- Motivating and empowering leadership style, with the ability to coach and develop colleagues
- Good understanding of personal/process safety, quality systems, and environmental/regulatory expectations
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, constructively challenge assumptions and build alignment across global teams
Preferred:
- Detergents components knowledge
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives
- Knowledge of digital tools for data analysis, process development, and modelling
- French language proficiency would be advantageous for collaboration with relevant stakeholders and sites.
