Position Summary:
The Infrastructure Cloud Hosting Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving Infineum’s global cloud infrastructure and network services. The role involves configuring and supporting infrastructure technologies, responding to cloud and network queries, and contributing to IT projects and service upgrades. Working within an ITIL-based framework, the engineer collaborates with application teams to manage environments and advises business groups on infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities / What You'll Achieve
• Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy environments.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and other cloud infrastructure (Azure).
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise in regard to all infrastructure platforms, including VMware, Veeam, Data Domains and other infrastructure/storage technologies.
• Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Ensure security compliance through patching, hardening, and monitoring.
• Collaborate in infrastructure projects such as migrations, upgrades, and DR planning.
• Provide tier-3 support for escalated infrastructure issues.
• Document processes, configurations, and architecture diagrams

Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure engineering and/or systems administration.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
• Windows Server and basic Linux administration.
• VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
• Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Veeam, Data Domain and/or similar backup and storage technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
Preferred:
• Strong experience in AD, DNS, GPOs.
• Familiarity with Entra ID, AVD, M365 Portals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Leadership experience or mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
