Position Summary:
As an AI Portfolio Advisor within the AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE), you will drive the governance, prioritisation and value realisation of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI and Advanced Analytics initiatives across Infineum.
Working with business stakeholders, data scientists, architects and delivery teams, you will help identify, assess and shape innovation opportunities, develop robust value cases, and ensure initiatives are aligned to business strategy and AI CoE objectives.
The role contributes directly to the growth of Infineum’s AI CoE by strengthening portfolio governance, accelerating AI adoption, supporting the scaling of successful AI and Advanced Analytics solutions, and developing reusable practices that support long-term digital and AI capability development.
Key Responsibilities / What You'll Achieve
A. AI CoE portfolio governance and prioritisation
- Own AI CoE portfolio governance and prioritisation processes, ensuring investment decisions are based on strategic alignment, value potential, feasibility, risk and resource availability.
- Maintain a portfolio view of AI and digital innovation opportunities, including business value, dependencies, resource requirements, delivery readiness and strategic alignment.
- Prepare portfolio insights, investment recommendations and decision materials for Digital Transformation Office and AI CoE governance forums.
- Ensure prioritisation decisions are transparent and aligned to AI CoE objectives, innovation outcomes and business value.
B. AI / Advanced Analytics use-case shaping and business value definition
- Partner with business functions to identify, shape and assess AI, Advanced Analytics and digital innovation use cases that improve products, processes, decision-making, productivity or business outcomes.
- Help stakeholders articulate opportunity statements, value hypotheses, expected outcomes and measurable KPIs for AI / digital initiatives.
- Support proof-of-concept, proof-of-value and MVP scoping by clarifying the problem statement, data needs, functional requirements and success measures.
- Evaluate and prioritise opportunities based on innovation potential, business value and implementation feasibility.
C. Business case, investment and benefit realisation
- Lead or support the development of value cases and business cases for prioritised AI CoE / digital innovation initiatives.
- Establish benefit capture plans, value metrics and KPI frameworks, and monitor realised benefits against expected outcomes.
- Work with Finance, Project Owners, Product Owners and Value Stream Leads to ensure benefits are traceable from business case through delivery and post-implementation review.
D. Execution readiness and transition to delivery
- Translate prioritised opportunities into delivery-ready initiatives with clear scope, success measures, assumptions, dependencies and resource requirements.
- Partner with business and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition from portfolio shaping into delivery squads or execution teams.
- Maintain alignment between expected business outcomes, delivery progress and realised value throughout the initiative lifecycle.
E. AI CoE capability building and reusable practices
- Support the establishment and maturation of reusable AI CoE portfolio practices, including value assessment templates, prioritisation criteria, KPI frameworks and delivery-readiness artefacts.
- Support the development of Singapore-based AI, data and digital capabilities through stakeholder coaching, knowledge transfer and best-practice sharing.
- Contribute to organisational capability building by improving how Infineum identifies, assesses, prioritises and scales AI and digital innovation opportunities.
- Capture lessons learned from AI / digital initiatives and apply them to continuously improve portfolio governance, prioritisation and value realisation practices.

Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in digital transformation, AI / data-enabled initiatives, portfolio management, business analysis, product ownership, digital consulting, technology advisory or strategic programme delivery.
- Experience supporting AI, Advanced Analytics, Digital Innovation or Product Portfolio environments is preferred.
- Experience shaping or assessing digital, data, analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI or automation use cases from opportunity identification through business case, MVP definition and delivery readiness.
- Strong understanding of value-based portfolio management, business case development, benefit tracking, KPI definition and value realisation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams comprising business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts / Digital Translators, data specialists, solution architects, delivery leads and external partners.
- Ability to translate business problems into clear digital / AI opportunity statements, value hypotheses, requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Experience operating in agile, product-centric or hybrid delivery environments, ideally involving squads or cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to coach business stakeholders on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with AI governance, data governance, responsible AI, model lifecycle considerations or digital risk management would be an advantage.
- Experience in chemical, manufacturing, supply chain, R&D or industrial environments would be beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Data / Analytics, Engineering, Science or a related discipline preferred.
